Pet sitting began as a way to heal after losing my beloved Mr. Smith, who walked beside me through a 15-year journey of love and growth. Caring for other pets soon became more than comfort — it revealed a bigger calling.

Hearing story after story from pet parents about unsafe or neglectful care made one thing clear: this isn’t just work for me, it’s my mission. That’s how Your Pet Staycations was born — out of love, vision, and a commitment to set the standard in pet care.

Today, my focus is continuing to grow our trusted team and our new Main Street boutique while building toward a much bigger vision for the future of Your Pet Staycations. Every step is guided by what this company can become over the next decade—a family of pet-centered services and spaces rooted not only in exceptional care, but in meaningful community connection.

Diandra, Pawtner in Care

Hi, I'm Diandra. Depending on the season, I'm an ecological gardener, preschool teacher, and body worker. I love biking, dancing, playing, inquiring. I am a lover of movement, breath, and am deeply nourished being in relation with children and animals. I love romping, playing and learning with creatures of all shapes and sizes. I look so very forward to knowing and loving on your sweet loved ones.

Joe, Pawtner in Care

Hi, I’m Joe! I’m an experienced handler of both family pets and shelter animals, with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve volunteered at shelters in Illinois and Colorado, where I’ve also helped train new volunteers in dog walking and playgroup management.

I currently volunteer with Denver Animal Shelter, walking dogs and helping train new volunteers. I’ve also fostered dogs needing medical care and specialized support for reactivity, which has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and meeting each animal where they are.

My wife, Val, and I are pet parents to Peach, our five-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix. Over the years, I’ve shared my home with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even goldfish!

Tanya, Pawtner in Care

Hi, I’m Tanya! You've likely seen me around town with a cattle dog in tow! I'm a avid dog mom, hiker and canine agility competitor. I come with a wealth of understanding of canine behavior and I am calm, confident and prepared with a dogs best interest at heart. But most of all, I truly know how much care and concern we have for our four legged loved ones, so much so, that leaving them is tough enough.

Before moving to Boulder County, I ran a small pet sitting business for many years in Cherry Hills Village, south of Denver. In this capacity, I not only took care of household pets but also horses and to some extent, estate management. I not only watched these beloved pets but often times I was also responsible for every aspect of their care for extended periods of time.

Aubrey, Pawtner in Care

Hi, I’m Aubrey! I moved here from the beaches of Florida last year, and my family and I are thrilled to be in the mountains of Colorado! I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter for nine years, and when they say, “Do the job that you love,” that’s absolutely what I’m doing! I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and giving them the individual care they deserve. Over the years, I’ve cared for all shapes and sizes—from a 4 lb. Chihuahua to a 110 lb. Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix—and I love them all! I’ll treat your pets as if they’re my own, so you can leave without worry and enjoy your time away. I’m excited to make some new furry friends here in Colorado!
